Serk A30 The Captain

NOT an integrated cockpit: the original A30 uses a standard external stem and bar on a 1-1/8 in steerer with "Semi Integrated Cabling" (maker: "a simple lightweight internal gear cabling system which can neatly accommodate di2 wiring by switching out the included di2 ports. The hydraulic hose is semi integrated"). The archive page carries no build spec, so no stock stem length, stem angle, bar width, bar reach or bar drop is stated and stock_stem_length / stock_bar_width are null. FRONT END (owners manual https://www.serk.cc/ownersmanual/): "The headsets on A30, A21, A10 is ZS44/EC44 ... The headtube is a straight 44mm and the fork is tapered 28.6mm to 39.8mm"; note the same manual's A30 quick-spec block says "Headset EC44 upper, EC44 lower" - the two statements conflict and are reproduced as found. "Additional top headset stack" for the A30 is published as 10 mm in every size (owners manual A30 table; the A30[M] with the integrated Serk headset is 28.5 mm), i.e. the stem sits 10 mm above the frame stack figure before any spacers. Maximum spacer stack and top cap height are NOT published. Torque: top cap bolt 2-3 Nm, stem bolts 5 Nm. FORK: proprietary Serk carbon all-road fork, 12x100 mm thru axle (M12 x P1.5), flat mount; the maker only says the axle-to-crown is "relatively short" - no figure published. Fork offset 50 mm (XS) / 43 mm (S-XXL) as in the table. SEATPOST: 27.2 mm round (owners manual quick spec "Seatpost diameter 27.2mm"); Serk carbon 27.2 mm post on the current A30[M] builds; setback / offset NOT published; seat clamp bolt 5 Nm; seatpost clamp included with the frameset. TYRES / DRIVETRAIN: 700c x 35 mm measured max tyre, trail figures are for a 28C tyre (owners manual label "Trail (28C)"), T47 68 mm BB, max chainring 53/39, 142x12 rear, removable titanium hanger, flat mount (140 mm rotor standard per manual text, "max 160mm rotor" per quick spec). Weight limit 115 kg rider plus bike. SUCCESSOR A30[M] (https://www.serk.cc/a30m/, same frame geometry, integrated one-piece cockpit, EC44/EC44 headset, 28.5 mm top headset stack): bar options Deda Super Box / Deda RS2, THE ONE PRO carbon integrated, or EXS Aerover carbon integrated (EXS: 30+ sizes from 80 mm/360 mm to 140 mm/420 mm, 290 g at 90/360); maker says the integrated front end "can be retro-fitted onto existing A30 bikes with a kit from Serk".

F "BB Drop" is BB centre below the axle line. Wheelbase XS 986 mm is larger than S 981 mm exactly as published on all three maker pages (XS runs a 50 mm offset fork and 70.5 deg head angle); reproduced, not corrected. NOT PUBLISHED and therefore null: standover, front centre, axle-to-crown, stock stem length, stock bar width. MODEL YEAR: Serk does not use model years. The page was published 2019-07-06 (article:published_time), last modified 2026-01-11, and the model was superseded by the A30[M] (page published 2022-10-08, diagram file named geo_2023_550.jpg) which keeps the same frame geometry and adds an integrated front end; the only geometry-relevant difference is the top headset stack (10 mm on the A30, 28.5 mm on the A30[M]).
